Which means flowers! Sunshine! And Spring cleaning?
But spring cleaning doesn’t have to be a hassle.

Let CJs Carpet Cleaning Launceston take care of all your carpet cleaning.
We are a local Launceston based owner - operated carpet cleaning service, and have been proudly servicing Launceston for 17 years. We have established a reputation for reliable, thorough work, with a NO_HIDDEN_EXTRA_ CHARGES policy. We will never under quote, and then try to add on extra charges for un-quoted extra services.

We will thoroughly inspect your carpet, identifying any stains or odors. Then we will not only take the necessary steps for removal, but also implement a plan to preserve and protect your carpet for years to come.
  1. Better air quality in your home
Proper cleaning of carpets helps remove dust, allergens, pollen, and pet and insect dander that could be hiding in the fibres of your carpet. By eliminating these elements, you’re not only cleaning your carpet, but you’re also cleaning the air within your household.
  2. Removal of dust that can trigger allergies
It’s allergy season, so there’s no better time to get rid of that dust that builds up in your carpet! Carpets act like filters and trap allergens. If the carpet is not cleaned correctly, the allergens can be disturbed and released into the air again.
  3. Eliminate dust mite infestations
90% of house dust is made up of our own skin that we shed every 3 days (a regular food supply for the dust mites and bacteria that breed in our carpets). Even if your carpet looks clean, dust and bacteria can still be settled between the fibres.
  4. Removal of bacteria and germs
Microscopic bacteria and germs can hide away in your carpet. When you have your carpets professionally cleaned, these systems penetrate deep into the fibres and lift out the dirt and many pollutants that we track into the house. These systems then bring the pollutants out of the household and dispose of them in the correct manner.
  5. Restoration of color and texture of the carpet
Who doesn’t want their carpet to look brand new? Dirt particles hidden within the carpet act like sandpaper, breaking down the carpet fibres every time you walk on it. Eliminating the dirt particles will eliminate the breaking down of the carpet fibres, making them look clean and new.
  6. Removal of stains
Does your carpet have stubborn stains that just won’t come out? By having your carpets steam cleaned, it uses a hot water extraction method to get rid of those unwanted stains.
  7. Protection of one of your home’s majors investments
Your carpets cost you a lot of money, so why not keep them in prime condition? Dust and dirt particles have sharp edges that can cut carpet fibres, leaving them looking frayed and lifeless. Have your carpets professionally cleaned to prevent this type of damage and extend your carpet’s life

]]><![CDATA[Thank you Craig...]]>Mon, 28 Nov 2016 06:00:17 GMThttps://www.cjscarpetcleaninglaunceston.com.au/blog/thank-you-craigCheryl from Launceston phoned this afternoon so pleased with her carpet clean.
She has had Craig clean her carpets annually for the last few years. She said her carpets are very old and should be replaced, BUT.....they now seem (almost) as good as new again and she will delay replacing them another 12 months at least!
Doesn't look like the carpet shops are going to be our friends in this instance!

]]><![CDATA[Biro Stain on Carpet]]>Tue, 01 Apr 2014 08:28:58 GMThttps://www.cjscarpetcleaninglaunceston.com.au/blog/biro-stain-on-carpetCraig was called out to a rented Norwood home this morning where a biro had leaked in 4 spots- 1 quite large- on a bedroom carpet.
After successfully treating the stain and removing all evidence of the mark, he was asked to clean the entrance foyer and stair carpet which had become very soiled from the moving in process.
The owners of the house came by and were amazed at the appearance of the cleaned area, and immediately obtained his phone number. The owners happen to live next door, so it looks like another carpet clean at Norwood in the near future!

During the course of carpet cleaning - you never know what the next phone call is going to be! One of the more off beat calls was to extract urine from a carpet at Selbourne (about 30 minutes from Launceston) after a couple of ferral possums got into an un-occupied home and basically went balistic.
The results were excellent with all traces of possum removed (actually almost easier than cat urine). the owners were happy to have their home habitable again the very same day.
